About The Event

Barrie’s Live Music Show is an ONLINE music community that was DEVELOPED during the COVID-19 pandemic when local venues and gatherings of more than 5 people were prohibited. Founder Jake Mathias, of the local band "The Straits,” had a mandate to create a platform for people of all ages, representing all types of music, to share their talents online through live or recorded video.

What To Expect

Barrie’s Live Music Show has worked with leading pandemic consultants, health departments and special event experts to formulate a socially distanced venue to enjoy live entertainment.

Key Components

Attendees will each be allotted separated 20’x20’ parking and delineated viewing stalls. Live music will be broadcast via a PA system with tuned delayed towers. LED video screens broadcasting live feeds from the stage as well as including live stream guest artist via the Barrie Live Music Show platform.

How Does It Work In A Pandemic?

LIVE CITY TOUR features an innovative venue setup developed with leading event industry producers from Prepared Canada Corporation. This innovative venue plan separates attendees into individual 400 square foot viewing booths that allow them to drive in, park on-site and enjoy the show while safely social distancing. Protocols are in place to allow for movement out of the car and still physically distance.

Covid-19 Tech

Everything at Barrie’s Live Music Show is executed with the latest technology of hands-free zero contact. Ticketing, tap payment services, online ordering and pre-purchasing food and beverages with free delivery to attendee's booth.
